In this talk, Mehdi Yahyanejad, will share his experience in founding, managing and marketing Balatarin.com with the audience. The talk will cover the evolution of the website from idea to its current status with a reach of 8 million page views per month.
Mehdi Yahyanejad received his PhD in Physics from MIT in 2004. Now, he works on social media and web 2.0.

The submitted links to articles are voted on. The submissions with more votes get more prominence on the website. The topics discussed on Balatarin range from social issues and human rights to entertainment and sports. In 2008, Balatarin was selected as the best Persian social website of the year.
